The developer becomes a director: setting direction, reviewing decisions, and guiding the AI through complex problems. Development speed increases by an order of magnitude.

But the bigger shift is happening outside of engineering. AI no longer just assists with creativity. It enables product managers and business analysts to work independently and iteratively. Ideas can be translated into working prototypes within hours and put in front of customers the same day. Mistakes become cheaper. Iteration becomes the default. The gap between idea and product has never been smaller.
